What would you Keep/Change/Dump for the next series…
 

…I shamelessly stole this from another forum…a Kiss/Marry/Avoid type adaption…for the next series, what would you personally keep because it was just right…change/tweak a bit …or just completely dump and not want to see again…?…

Keep:
- similar cast in terms of diversity and age range
- 3 hours live feed after L&L
- AJ and Will for another series

Change:
- L&L refresh. Simplify it a bit (I think half an hour would be fine tbh) and include more ex housemates
- Fewer back door evictions and doubles
- Fewer tasks but longer ones and more challenging
- Would like a Sat HL show because we've literally never seen any of what happens pre-evictions on Fridays

Dump:
- I actually can't think of anything but maybe I will later

Keep:
AJ and Will
Fresh house design, definitely a fan of the upstairs
Live feed

Refresh:
The outside set, they probably had something different planned, but they couldn’t use the original land they wanted to, there should be stairs leading up into the house, this set looked cheap
They need to tweak L&L, it wasn’t ever the smoothest thing, they should make the studio for it smaller so it feels more intimate
The BB voice, there was nothing wrong with the original concept of the different producers doing the voices
The production in general was a bit of a mess, like they were making it up as they went, not doing things they announced, rushing out twists, hopefully it was just teething problems

Dump:
The music on evictions
The private smoking cupboard, let adults smoke in an outdoor smoking area if they want to, sanitising that aspect of peoples lives for tv deprived us of so much potentially good tv
Not having the eviction interviews on the main show, it’s weird

Keep
Diverse cast
Full nominations each week
Will as main host

Change
The house / studio. layout. Bring back stairs.
Series length, make it 10 weeks
Four finalists, 5-6 always felt like too many
Have AJ be the aftershow host. She's effortlessly likeable and charismatic but I think Will is better suited for the main show

Good range of diverse housemates
Length of series

New tasks, tasks were awful this year
New outdoor set, current one isn’t good
New presenters or change in presenting style

The house itself was great

Change
New presenters. AJ and Will were not good (especially AJ). Maybe bring back Ryan or Emma Willis
Make the show longer. We need to get to know the housemates. Maybe bring in some mid-series housemates
No backdoor evictions

Keep
- the casting. Loved the normality of them love it loathe them

Change
- tasks. More focus on a weekly task with mote pressure for them to take it seriously.
- focus on all housemates. Too many for a short time. Either less housemates for 6 weeks or more time for 16 housemates.

Dump
- last minute tasks
- back door evictions. Hate them so much m

Keep the amount of housemates.
Make the show 3 weeks longer.
Add 2 newbies along the line.
Dint evict every week.
Make sure you dont end up with a final 5 like this year.

Things I would keep:
1. The casting
2. The house (although shorten the hallway between the main area and the bedroom/bathroom/DR entrance).
3. Full Nominations
4. Live Feeds
5. AJ & Will

Things I would change:
1. Lower the amount of tasks
2. Add stairs
3. Lengthen the series
4. Make live feeds 24/7
5. Add Saturday episodes and/or add a part 2 on eviction nights.
6. No backdoor evictions
7. AJ and Will need to host Launch and Final together. Alternate who hosts BBLL and the main show each week.
8. Bring back BBLB
9. The size of the TV in the Living Room

Things I would dump:
1. All the colour-changing lights in the house.
2. The screens and giant eye shaped elements on the entrance to the house.
3. Countdown when the housemates to the front doors.

Keep:
The diversity of the casting
The house

Change:
The length of the series to 8 weeks
Have a saturday show like diary room uncut, or have live feed during the day
75min highlights, 45 min BBLL, or have BBLL air only on a friday for an hour
Reform BBLL for more exclusives and psychological deep dives
LIVE launch!
Less housemates
Less censoring on the live feed
Vote to save (or have both VTE and VTS)

Dump:
The one BB voice
Unnecessary tasks
Non-live evictions
BBLL eviction interviews

Also something that really annoys me that I would dump, AJ and Will walking out after the opening titles as if we haven't just seem them outside doing the cold open...

I haven't got a full list

But yes to keeping diverse cast , that's one of the best things about BB seeing different people from different walks of life living together . And it's interesting seeing how they get on .

I think they should have more of a range in different age groups. Have 1 or 2 in their 60's to shake things up , a few more middle age hm's aswell.


Change the monotone BB voice.


Go back to hm's going straight into the house without saying hello to the presenters, just get them straight in there . And have AJ & Will give us random facts like in old BB days .


Keep the big house & upstairs, but change the design and colours to make it fresh and new.

They should do something different with the garden aswell , change the seating areas .

I would dump L&L

Or have two sets of presenters - one for each program- healthy competition.

Then if someone isn’t up to like these two there’s someone ready to step in or even give them alternate nights

Make tasks more difficult
Make the secret room bigger and add access to a garden
Longer series 8 weeks or more.
If someone threatens to quit/leave open the door and let them out
First rule break talking nominations is put up for eviction
Some daily live feed for 3 further hours
The company checking social media accounts
Rewards for secret missions only if they don't get found out by fellow housemates
Single presenter for interviews, two are not needed
Have a Saturday night spin off kind of show
Have a weekly challenge and the 3 winners get to go to the BB Tavern for drinks/music
The BBLL set was far too long, have 3 decent panel members and a audience of 20-25 max no more.
Have at least two of the old school audience members on BBLL who have opinions and are not afraid to speak.

Dump
AJ and Will
Presenters who are biased, they need to be neutral and play devils advocate to get both sides.
Luxury food treats
BB manipulation of chosen ones/baddies
The company checking the social media accounts
Any interaction with outside - no F&F apart from letters from home near the end
Prison where they have contact still and make it isolation rather than more screentime/spotlight
The BBLL panel members who don't watch the show and have no idea what is going on
