Votes reopening / Extra Votes

Do you think it was slightly unfair how the votes kept closing and reopening and you got an extra 5 votes each time?
If you didn't watch it live it meant you only got 5 votes where is other people ended up with what 20 odd votes?

BBDodge 18-11-2023 11:08 AM

You had to be fairly quick during the ad breaks to register your extra votes.

Considering how close 2nd, 3rd and 4th were in the vote it would have been interesting to see how different they would have ranked if given a longer voting window

MTVN 18-11-2023 11:21 AM

Supposedly the result they showed was from before Noky left so I'd be interested to know what impact the extra votes had given the order didn't change :suspect:

It was a bit stupid how short a time you had, I was still mourning Noky's departure when they announced the next vote was closed before I'd had time to vote Olivia

Not really....whether you pay for them or they are free I am sure people used throw more votes to their favourite when they re-opened after an eviction.

I didn't know that. That's insane. Very little margin too between 2-4... so if they showed that graph does it mean the order didn't shift around at all even when people were being eliminated.. and the fanbases were being cannibalized??

Tbf I wouldn't be too surprised.

I think that a similar thing is happening on Strictly this year where fanbases aren't budging.

I assume Noky leaving would benefit olivia
Yinrun would be split between Jordan / Olivia
Henry would benifit Jordan

Therefore the order doesnt change

they had 5 mins to vote when the lines re-opened. It was probably only enthusiasts like us that bothered voting then

That's what AJ said on L&L but I'm wondering if that was a mistake because it seems more likely to have been the result after additional votes were included

That’s an excellent point !!

You had to be really invested to keep pace with the voting ..

Maybe they did that to prevent the voting being ruined by hundreds of FaceWipe groups who were intent on scuppering the results but weren’t willing to tune in live and watch the program intently .

Bravo Big Brother … they finally got something right !!!

They should have interviewed the housemates. asked them who they want to win then shut the votes 5 minutes later I think.

Withano 19-11-2023 01:07 PM

Judging by those ending percentages, it looks like very few people used their extra votes

That fits in with the theory that only the real fans / viewers took the time to vote each window .. which is ideal
