Their poor families, camping in November, if they were drinking potentially they could have died from hypothermia, hope they are found safe but it is not looking good if none of the 4 are contactable

arista 21-11-2023 03:27 PM

Police know more
but are keeping it secret?

Cherie 21-11-2023 03:31 PM

I think most parents wouldn't be too happy about kids camping in November, tragically he didn't tell her

I had the feeling it was a car crash. So sad, they were so young.

Usually kids go camping in summer. In winter it's way too cold.

Liam- 21-11-2023 03:46 PM

Absolutely awful, it’s really not the place to go this time of year, poor guys

who could be in charge

Crimson Dynamo 21-11-2023 05:33 PM

so very sad

Gusto Brunt 21-11-2023 06:42 PM

Reminds me of the band members of Viola Beach who died in similar circumstances in 2016.

thesheriff443 21-11-2023 06:44 PM

The car was upside down in water

bots 22-11-2023 01:05 AM

You know what it's like as teens. Someone has a mad idea, and everyone says, yeah, lets do it. There is also a reason why car insurance is so high for young drivers. The danger is real.

Still, it's a tragic accident for people that had their whole lives ahead of them

Mystic Mock 22-11-2023 03:40 AM

Awful.

My condolences to their families.

Like Liam's already said, I hope that none of them suffered for a prolonged period of time.

LaLaLand 22-11-2023 03:43 AM

This is awful. Was hoping for a better outcome.

The area the accident happened can be treacherous, speaking from personal experience - lots of narrow, winding roads with tight bends up here (North Wales) that people who aren't familiar with come unstuck driving on. A lot of speeding goes on too (not implying they were). Around there in Snowdonia especially. Wet, Wintery weather would have made it 10x worse too.

Tragic. RIP.
