Home Secretary James Cleverly has admitted using a swearword at a Labour MP
He called Stockton North a S***hole
This was on PMQ's [The home secretary has admitted he used "unparliamentary" language to describe a Labour MP, a close source has said. James Cleverly had denied claims he called the Stockton North constituency a swearword in response to a question in the Commons from Alex Cunningham. The source said on Thursday: "James made a comment. He called Alex Cunningham a S*** MP. He apologises for unparliamentary language."] https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tees-67511542 On Ch5HD Live a local fella, phoned in, & said the Shopping mall has gone Pott holes in the road. Its Run down, local shops closed He agreed with what James Cleverly, MP Saying that word. |
Another fine example of an inappropriate high office of the UK Home secretary then in Cleverly.
Sunak's judgement gets more questionable with most of his appointments to high office. |
At least he has said sorry
|
It's as inappropriate as Angela Raynor calling the Tories "scum". All politicians should be able to moderate the way they speak to, and about each other.

Yes Livia great points |

He should have known better. He's actually even a Minister in one of the MAJOR offices of State. In fact he's been in TWO of them. I shouldn't really be surprised Cons will excuse him however. |
they all do it, they simply have no class
|
the BBC printed the word said, so that gives people an idea of where it stands in the obscenity index
|
.
Hmmm, it has definitely gone to the dogs over the years. |
because the state of that area of the NE is fine
but saying sh*t well that is unacceptable  |
Oh no he swore at someone?
How will we cope? |

Someone in the government that has been in place for over a decade calling any part of the country they govern "a ****hole" is atrocious and he should frankly be removed. It may or may not be a ****hole but an attitude like that coming from near the top of the only people in any position to actually change that? It's all very well saying "it's a labour area" but the various parts of the country that are falling apart from lack of funding can't be placed on anyone but the Tories. They've been in power far too long to blame anyone else. A high-ranking Tory sitting in London mocking areas of the country that need serious attention is repugnant.

It's incredible how hard-line Cons will never drop that one while defending a creep like Cleverley. Anyhow I'll say again. A definition of scum is the worst of stuff rising to the top. I think it fits Sunak and his rotten from the core gang perfectly. |

I think scum is a pretty light word to use https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F_orjgYW...jpg&name=small |

He shouldn't be removed imo, but the conservatives are increasingly as unhinged as their American counterparts. |

It's nothing else but deliberate cruelty the harder rules this heartless government brought in re the sick and disabled. Absolutely disgraceful. |

The reason it's so unthinkably wrong for a politician within a sitting government to refer to part of their own country as "a ****hole" is because it shows contempt for the area, suggests that it is the way that it is by it's very nature (a worthless area for worthless people) and takes no accountability for the fact that, if somewhere is a ****hole in the country you've been running for nearly 15 years, that is YOUR failing. Many towns are struggling and run down because they've been monumentally disregarded and let down by the Tory government and Tory austerity. The only words coming out of a high-ranking Tory's mouth about those towns should be apologies. |
nearly 15 years
Yes SB Blame New Labour Gordon Stupid Brown And Communist Corbyn Both UnElected by our public Labour FAILED |

Only the Cons would blame others from way over a decade ago for their own failings. What tripe |
