Does anyone watch the prison show 60 days in : The Jail
New series or old ones ?
Any thoughts ? Th volunteers ( many ex offenders) earn around $3,000 dollars / £2,400 per episode or £43,000 per series They do risk their own mental and physical wellbeing though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Same Guess the money plays a factor plus the majority have spent a decent amount of time behind bars so it’s probably not as daunting for them compared to us normals Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

That’s not always been the case, Zizu, though it might be more so now. In the early series, many participants were there to learn and felt they would be suitable because of their work experiences. For instance, Participants from Series 1 were as follows:
Maryum May May Ali - social worker Barbra Roylance Williams - author Tami Ferraiuolo - former police officer Jeffrey Downs - security officer Robert Holcomb - teacher. Isaiah Jenkins - recent high school graduate and brother of a current inmate. Zachary Baker - veteran |

Ahhh.. I’ve just watched series 7 and 8 and it’s definitely more dangerous and likely you are caught out by prisoners who literally have nothing else to think about The inmates were very suspicious about new prisoners and their fabricated back story especially as each series a huge number of cameras are installed months before the ‘spies’ are sent in There’s quite a lot of talk about the possibility of newbies being spies / plants … even genuine ones Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
