New strain of Swine Flu found in the UK for the first time
|
|
[A new strain of swine flu - similar to a flu virus
currently circulating in pigs - has been detected in a human in the UK for the first time. The person was diagnosed with the infection - influenza A(H1N2)v - as part of routine national flu surveillance after visiting their GP in North Yorkshire with breathing problems, it is understood. The person involved is not known to have worked with pigs and has fully recovered.] https://news.sky.com/story/virus-str...in-uk-13017517 Good he has got it out of his body |
Can't quite see that, zeez, Have you got a bigger picture of it?

Swine flu isn't a particularly scary one... it's been a pretty bog standard flu in every outbreak/pandemic. Bird flu is the scary one but it's very rarely transmitted to humans, and not human-to-human.
So far :worry:. |
