i mean its a nice contrast to a younger ringer this year (Layton) and also a bit of a national treasure casting like Angela Rippon (since Torvill & Dean are an absolutely super popular iconic olympic duo)

and tbh i just want an older ringer, whom might just be coming across more likeable than younger ringers (Nigel also proving popular despite his musical experience)

No one who's had any serious dance training should be included in Strictly or what happens is, the judges vote them through all the way to the final when the public can finally get rid of them. Last week Angela Scanlon was ousted by the judges in favour of Layton. Angela had improved week on week and it was great to watch, while Layton danced like a professional from week one. And that's because he IS a bloody professional and has been since he was 10 years old.

the only thing Layton has proven himself to be great at is his showmanship, everything is all the same what he has done so far


technically i find him quite mediocre



this is all good promo for his musical theatre career (and honestly Craig is from the west end too, so of course he saves him :hehe:)
