The Security worker (Does not work for McD)
Should have shouted "Move or you will get wet"

I say Shops should Move
any Homeless away from their
windows.

Tbf he could’ve just not mopped so close to where the homeless guy was sleeping. I know the guy has to do his job but are his bosses really going to know which part of the floor he has cleaned? Especially if it’s outside.

It's big Sloppy moppy mop
to remove Urine stains and the like
around McD window

They get a Massive amount of regular customers.

Move the Tramp down away from his mopping
is all that is needed

I can see why people would be pissed off, there'll be a big patch of ground that's still dirty :fist:

thesheriff443 10-12-2023 12:03 PM

I watched the clip and I’ve got no sympathy for the guy on the floor, more than likely a scammer

Cherie 10-12-2023 12:03 PM

McDonalds have sacked the security company and are looking for the man to make amends

You have to be a certain level of low to throw water at a homeless person

Not as low as pretending to be homeless to con honest people out of money

Look at the duvet !, not a stain on it

The was a guy up London with no shoes and dirty feet but had manicured toe nails

Same for the people with signs saying I’m very hungry but are overweight

How can you tell from the pic the duvet is not stained, looks pretty grimy to me, maybe someone bought it for him recently, maybe he carries it around in a bin bag, ..are you saying there are no genuine homeless people and they are all con artists, because in every aspect of life there are opportunists that doesn't mean there are no genuine cases as well

I’ve wantched the video clip on YouTube the guy on the ground is talking and no way gives me the impression he is homeless

For every genuine homeless person there is at least two scammers

Not every homeless person can actually be helped, some are given homes but they go back to the streets

If someone is in the grip of an addiction the only thing they want is to feed that addiction ultimately putting them back on the streets

I’m not heartless but life has taught me to look a lot closer at people

In terms of this story it doesn't matter whether the person is homeless or not, chucking water at someone is an assault ...simple as I realise some homeless people cannot be helped that still does not justify assaults on them

He shouldn’t be laying in front of a premises, he should of got up and moved if he didn’t want to get wet

It’s alright taking the side of these people dossing in front of shops but you wouldn’t want them there if you was trying to run a business

"We are shocked and saddened by this incident. The third party security guards involved have been permanently removed from our restaurants and the restaurant team has been reminded of the importance of treating all people with respect, including vulnerable people both in the restaurant and within the wider community.

"We would like to wholeheartedly apologise to the gentleman in the video and will work with the council to locate him and make amends as part of our ongoing work to support homelessness charities in & around the area."

…it didn’t feel as though the security guard even realised he was a human being …it’s good to see that MacDonald’s aren’t showing the same lack of humanity…

It is playing on SkyNewsHD every hour
and on Twitter - so those USA owners
can see the problem.

I expect ITV GMBHD in the morning spending
30mins debate on this.

Also the sad bbc

Parliament need to bring in a New Law

No Homeless or scammers
can sit on a Window of a shop/store
or next to it.

Police can then move them,

thesheriff443 10-12-2023 01:18 PM

It’s important to realise these people sit/lay outside food outlets to pull on the heartstrings of people going into get food.

They don’t lay in places that they would not attract attention to themselves

Of Course
that's why every store must Mop up the Urine
outside on the pavement
with Disinfection, every morning

…the towns are filled with empty premises/buildings that could be made comfortable so there isn’t the necessity to sleep on the streets and be treated with such belittling scorn….the focus is on our own homeless people with restrictions on border crossing so that we can prioritise them…?…’moving them on’ isn’t prioritising anything, it’s just ignoring attention/any help/solutions being looked at…

…he doesn’t have a ‘New Labour’…they might have tried to wear those hats but they really haven’t ever fitted at all…

In reading there are homeless people living in tents around the Salvation Army building right now and yet we are putting people paying between 3 and 5 thousand to get on a boat to get to this country in hotels

Is it any wonder people are losing their tempers.

The world is fcuked up

[Aaron McCarthy said of the incident on
Saturday night: 'It made me feel like I was no one,
nothing.
'What happened has really affected my mental health
. It has made my PTSD go off again and
made my ADHD get worse.
'There was no reason for that security guard
to throw water on my sleeping bag.
'I told him that I was not outside McDonald's
and that the private Victoria security
[who control the pavement area around
Victoria station] said it was ok.'

Aaron told how he has been living on the
streets of London since he left his adopted
mother's home in Wales when he was 17.

He said: 'I've been on the streets
since I was 17.]

['I was born a heroin addict.
My mum and my dad were addicts.
My dad was in jail.
I don't know my real parents.
I met my real mum once when I was 18.
I've never met my dad. I don't know him.

'My adopted mother lives in Wales.
I realise [now] why she has had
to take a step back [from being in a close
relationship with me] because I have severe ADHD,
post-traumatic distress disorder,
borderline personality disorder.

'She never knew this when she adopted me.
So she did not know I was going
to grow up the way I am now.]

Real sad no mental health charity
has not helped him, yet.

thesheriff443 11-12-2023 10:10 PM

If has been officially diagnosed with the conditions he says he has he will be entitled to benefits including housing benefits

thesheriff443 11-12-2023 10:23 PM

So he gets 700 a month personal independence payment and also universal credit didn’t say how much but it’s been reduced

So like I said he would also get housing benefits and would be eligible for a place to live

Like I also said, you can’t help some people.

If you looked deeper into this, he has been given places to live but was ordered to leave or evicted because of his behaviour
