Police Drone searching.

[A spokesperson for the force said the park
would remain closed as they hunt
for further information about
Gaynor's whereabouts.

Superintendent Wes Hornigold earlier
said earlier: 'We're doing everything we can
to find Gaynor and based on what we've
found in the park, this remains our focus
for the searches.

'Clearly, given the nearby waterways,
we do have to be open to the possibility that
Gaynor has entered the water and
we've carried out extensive searches on
the river this weekend.

'Naturally, our focus will now start to move
to underwater searches and we're seeking help
from specialist teams to help with this
complex task.

'Our priority is to find Gaynor and the park
will remain closed while these searches continue.
We'd ask the local community to bear
with us while this takes place.]

I also think she's in the water, sadly

…if it’s where I’m thinking of, I think that I’ve been to Wensum Park a few times where Gaynor was last seen…so horrific for her family and loved ones right now…that not knowing and hoping that she’s ok and will be back with them soon…very, very awful for them all right now…

Cherie 15-12-2023 08:55 AM

It is the park next to the Cathedral with the river walk

She took some of her clothes off
The yellow top her white blouse, her jewellery and phone have also been found and her coat was in the river

She is dead unfortunately, it’s just a case of finding her, police having hinted they know why she has killed her self but not in as many words

sad news, the police I think have handled it well

bots 15-12-2023 12:25 PM

i haven't been following it closely but it seems to have been handled much better than the previous event which was farcical

Vanessa 15-12-2023 05:23 PM

I wonder what happened. Maybe she got some bad news?

MTVN 15-12-2023 05:31 PM

Is the suggestion that she killed herself or had some sort of manic episode?

MTVN 15-12-2023 05:53 PM

It does sound most likely a suicide but scattering her possessions around the park is strange

Ammi 15-12-2023 05:57 PM

…so desperately sad…:’( …

Vanessa 15-12-2023 06:13 PM

She looked happy on the CCTV, so I don't know.
