The American Primaries 2024

They start today in Iowa. Trump expected to lead by a mile in the republican primary

Nicky91 15-01-2024 08:04 AM

if republicans still vote for the orange moron, they are seriously stupid :joker:

i mean DeSantis literally has same views as Trump, but he brings it way better in a more serious way and he is younger

Trump is too old (same age as Biden was last elections when Donnie called him too old to run for office )

Ammi 15-01-2024 08:07 AM

…so that was Nicky reporting on the American Primaries live from TiBB……

Nicky91 15-01-2024 08:09 AM

politics should be taken super seriously

so you shouldn't allow washed up reality tv clowns in, also no washed up deluded rappers (yes Kanye talking about you)

Ronnie also has a sexy wifey whom would make a superb first lady tbh and also one from florida would be nice either, done fabulously as florida governor

Newsnight BBC2HD

Jason Miller
in charge of the Trump Campaign

Told Victoria Derbyshire off
as she sounded like the New York Times.

All Media is predicting a Trump Win,
but the results will be later.
If Trump gets over 50%
then he is on course.

Oliver_W 16-01-2024 06:51 AM

DeSantis seems to actually believe the stuff that Trump says he does.

Nicky91 16-01-2024 07:21 AM

Republicans are so stupid tbh

why go for senile sleepy Trump when u got younger options, whom have same views either people (karma for Trump i call him that since he called Biden that at last election and since he's same age as Biden was back then)

arista 16-01-2024 08:07 AM

Vivek is now out of the race.
He congratulated Trump.

He now backs Trump for the President.

another one bribed by Trump then

Trump = Putin's Little Puppet

Nicky91 16-01-2024 08:26 AM

pretty sure making Trump US president again is also part of Putin's masterplan

so USA won't support Ukraine anymore

as if the people who voted here are actual americans

imagine voting for Trump, the person who wants to make the rich richer and the poor poorer

and i don't think the voters in iowa are all rich so they're just plain stupid

i myself don't think Trump will go H2H against Biden (can see Biden withdrawing from the elections tbh in favor of another candidate)

Trump doesn't look old okay fair enough but tbh he's a billionaire, he has done a lot of things to himself :hehe: Biden is all natural looks

joeysteele 16-01-2024 01:01 PM

Ugh.
How backward of the Republican party and its supporters.

bots 16-01-2024 01:06 PM

90% of republicans believe that biden stole the last election. That's the state of american politics now, and it's heading over here too

To consider:

In 2016 I got 5/1 on Trump to be the next president, AFTER primaries, when it was down to just him and Hillary Clinton.

Currently, he's sitting at 11/10 favourite with most bookies ... and that's with multiple other candidates still in the race.

Two explanations for this. One is that they think it'll be a Biden-Trump election race and when it comes down to that, Trump will be odds-on favourite.

There is a slight illusion here though because the other explanation is that they think Biden might not run ... i.e. that on health grounds he might not make it to election night.

However I don't think that's likely. I think there are only a couple of even vaguely realistic scenarios here:

1) Trump is the next POTUS

2) The legal issues surrounding Trump result in him being ineligible to run.

3) Trump has a stroke or heart attack before the election. I mean he is 77.

Outsider 4) Biden (or other Democrat) is the next POTUS which tbh might make me believe in vote fixing conspiracies because in the current political landscape... I just don't think the Dems win the next presidency.

i can't see any situation where biden wins unless trump suffers a serious health issue. He won't be barred from running, the people just won't allow that to happen. His supporters aren't like dem supporters, most of them are crazy and they already think the last election was a fix

Apparently, TECHNICALLY, because of the way the laws are written he could still be POTUS even if incarcerated on state charges . He could literally in theory be president from prison - there's nothing stopping people from doing so. It's basically a loophole, they really didn't foresee this scenario at all.

And if he goes to prison on federal charges he can pardon himself if he becomes president. It's bizarre.

To be honest I'm a bit whatever about it. The doom & gloom that was forecast when he won in 2016 didn't really come to pass, and the land of butterflies and rainbows that was hoped for when the Blues got back in didn't happen either. The social climate in the US is what it is, and the person in the Big Seat frankly doesn't seem to alter that much at all. It probably doesn't help that Biden's presidency has also been some sort of surrealist comedy sketch.

Trump is going to Seal the Border.

Stop the Invasion of Millions breaking into the USA.

This is a Vote winner across the USA.

Trump will be too busy having parties and playing golf and he is too lazy and haphazard to plan anything. Others in his team will do stuff, i'm sure, but they wont do 5% of what they have said they will do
