One Female MP also Resigned
[Jane Stevenson, a parliamentary private secretary (PPS) in the Department for Business and Trade, resigned from her role after she supported two key rebel amendments.] So 3 MP's Resigned in total last night https://news.sky.com/story/tory-depu...ments-13049746 |
If so many people from all over the political spectrum are saying this policy sucks ... then maybe it sucks?

Another Vote
tonight at after 5:30PM |

The bill is a result of having to make compromises, just like the brexit bill.
When there are compromises, everyone complains and it struggles to go through. Thats why coalitions never achieve anything  |

Those backbenchers and the higher profile Cons who huff and puff loudly for a time.
Always step back from what they really want and end up crawling back behind supporting things they don't believe in . They'll do it again tonight even though their view is this policy will NOT work. They get all heated up, then once the vote comes thet cower like behind the sofa and end up supporting it. A more face saving act for Sunak than a relevant or effective policy in reality. |
The Final Vote is soon.
