Starmers labour

They're going to walk the election, but there will be zero difference between the tories and labour. They keep telling us they're going to be the same, and hopefully folks may start to believe them.

It's a terrible campaign by Starmer tbh, normally advertising yourself as very different to an unpopular leader is the smarter tactic (one that Biden used very well in the last US General Election) but Starmer clearly doesn't understand that.

He is very lucky that people don't like Sunak tbh, and I agree with you that there will be zero difference between Sunak and Starmer.

the problem is that the government policies have been correct on the major issues. People may not like it, but it's true, and Starmer understands this

No sitting party, 8 million points behind in the polls with a 14yr track record, could ever be accused of being correct on the major issues.

Unless it's just social issues, and it becomes about trying to make life harder for people we don't like.

To which issues do you refer?

They really haven't.

Making people that are dying from Cancer have to sign on isn't exactly what I would call a correct policy personally.

Or when the Tories were trying to put more spy tools on the Internet during Theresa May's time as leader, because they wanted to invade regular citizens privacy.

That's just two very questionable policies that I've thought of right out of the gate.
