Do you have a tattoo/would you get one?

Just off the back of this current news story about tattoos.

Zizu 15-02-2024 05:50 AM

I don’t like them much at all .. on any age of male / female ..

I really hate the recent trend of neck tattoos which look gross .

I also particularly dislike those who get random tattoos which look as though some little kid has drawn on them … like Harry Styles . He surprises me as he’s covered in cheap looking tatts yet he has so much money plus he’s a wannabe actor so presumably that’s gonna affect his casting opportunities ?

I will admit to liking those ‘tribal sleeves’ .,

never, never, never

Niamh. 15-02-2024 09:27 AM

I used to want one when I was younger but never got one, I doubt I will at this stage, Gav has a couple on his arm though

I have a large Face tattoo on my arm I got in Cairns in Oz

Obviously at the time Rolf Harris was still a popular TV entertainer..

I'd never have a tattoo. Like you say the neck tattoos look terrible.

But last sumemr I saw one guy wearing shorts and he had stockings and suspenders tattooed on his bare legs. He was wearing flip flops and I could see the stocking seams tattooed at the back of his ankle.:joker:

I’ve not got any tattoos but from experience women do tend to like having back tattoos

I had a fling about two years back with a middle aged woman who had massive roses tattooed on her chest/boobs.

It was quite frankly revolting to look at and a passion killer in the bedroom. :p

Whenever I see those tattoos on women where they disappear out of sight under a blouse or down their jeans I always think they’ve allowed some complete stranger to ‘work’ in rather private areas ..

Bit grubby to my mind

I've seen some really attractive women whose bodies have been ruined by tattoos. I saw one woman who'd had a huge chess board tattooed on her back.

Number one, she cannot see it, and Number two, WHY??????

Had quite a few in my younger days, had them removed before the kids arrived.

Any roses?

AnnieK 15-02-2024 02:14 PM

I have a tattoo on my foot which has two butterflies and two flowers and a heart on a vine. It represents the two sets of twins I lost during my ivf journey and I love it.

How permanent were they?

LaLaLand 15-02-2024 08:10 PM

I'm covered.

Left arm full sleeve, right half sleeve, plus little ones on the back of my neck, collarbone and finger.

I'd like my right sleeve completed and someday my hands done maybe. I'd have had them much sooner but it's a big commitment/risk (employment etc) sadly!!

Yeah .. hands are pretty much a no-no as regards most employers.

Do you use a good tattooist ??

I only ask as some are amazing .. even better than some painters .. some tattoos look photo realistic as you know

I don't have any, but have toyed with getting one now and again...my friend recently had one done but it means something to her its not just random....I like tattooed sleeves on men think they look good

Alf 16-02-2024 12:23 AM

Don't have any, never will get any. Don't see the point in them?

Anyone you see with tattoos are easy to spot as the easily influenced. And many people are easily influenced right now. There's not many of us free thinkers left.

You easily influenced are the ones that all do the same thing. From all watching the same TV shows to all getting tattoos and dying your hair.

Us free thinkers are the ones that you get angry at for not stepping in line with the social norm and doing what we're told to do.

Mystic Mock 16-02-2024 04:34 AM

I'm not really a Tattoo person tbh.

I have nothing against anyone that does have Tattoos (women in particular can have an alluring appeal with Tattoos) but I personally just don't really ever envisage myself having a Tattoo.

That's nice.

The Tattoo I mean, but I am sorry about the twins not making it.
