Levi comments about Colson
 

He actually said he wasn't boring.His opinion changed after the task....

Yean that's what annoyed me tbh. He technically didn't answer the question, he ducked it by saying that Colson's the one he used to think of as the most boring. He didn't say who he thought was currently the most boring. If BB had any creativity or imagination in how they run the show, I'd have let him try to duck it by saying he used to think it was Colson, and then put him in the **** by asking him who he NOW thought was the most boring. Then he'd have annoyed/upset two people and then there might have been something worth watching.

…I feel as I often feel with CBB or any BB at times …when a housemate is being felt as being a certain character type by their fellow housemates but we’re just not being shown that…?..why aren’t we seeing the inspirational person that the housemates are seeing and feeling in Levi…?…we saw that very much with Sharon, whether we liked her or not so much, it was still something we understood…but with Levi…?…CBB have chosen to have him in the house because they feel he holds an interest in his character…and then he’s barely highlighted in any way…it’s frustrating when they do that, while they focus on just a few housemates only in their HL shows…

He has no backbone.

Imo if it's out in the open that you've said something negative, it's best to just own it.

…yeah, sorry…on topic…poor Colson has taken it all in good spirits when he’s been so misnamed as Colchester and so many other ‘col…’ sounding things…he’s smiled through it and always given a good go in the tasks…that was quite upsetting to see him so upset yesterday…

I don't really like those sht-stirring tasks. Most of them either successfully ducked the questions, or put it in a non-offensive way, so all that really happened was Colon got upset...

I had to laugh at tonight's show when it opened with Colson going on about how he started acting at eleven and had to mature and grow up quickly...only to later on say that Levi calling him boring caused him to question his own identity. :joker: Yeah, that sounds like a really mature way to respond to such a comment from someone you don't even really know.

They are both boring so Levi's not the one to judge, though the silly game meant he had to give an answer.

Was Colson maybe a bit extra in response to being called boring? Has he not been called worst before?!! How can being called boring make him question his whole existence?!?

Truth. Levi is one to talk. It was once said of David Blaine he looks like the sound of his voice puts him to sleep...same to Levi :smug:

if you are in a room full of people and someone picks you out specifically for criticism and it perhaps been weighing on your mind already being watched by people in their homes, it's going to hit hard :fist:

Perhaps this is true. That whole environment makes things more intense. But still, there are worst things to be called.

If I were called boring by Levi of all people, I'd tell the Kettle to expect to receive racial abuse from the Pot.

Exactly, coming from him. He's even worse.

I got the impression it triggered memories of some judgements made of him in the past. And being called boring suggests you’re pretty insignificant in the eyes of those around you, especially after spending over a week with Lauren making him feel he wasn’t even relevant enough for her to make the effort to use his correct name, when it only has two syllables and is spelled phonetically!

But, Levi didn’t really express his points very clearly or well, yet seemed totally unaware of that. It was your classic back-handed compliment.

…yeah, it’s a bit of a strange one really, I think…because it’s not the worst thing in the world to be called but in an odd way, it’s pretty bad also…because it indicates of no interest, of little value to a group in terms of that…a kind of ‘invisibility’, type thing and that is a pretty awful thing to feel when you think about it…we obviously all like to feel that we have some kind of significance…?…that we’re all a little part of that group jigsaw …not that we’re the one that would be least noticeable if we weren’t there…I mean, someone has to be chosen, I get that…but I wish that BB wouldn’t play those kind of games, they’re quite cruel…

Levi had to pick someone lol. And Colson isn’t exactly the life of the party. :laugh:

Yes plus being called the most boring in a room full of egocentric wak-jobs is basically a damm compliment … and he should have said that .. loudly !

Nobody wants to be called boring, granted.

However not everyone is going to find you interesting in life, Colson should value the people that do find him interesting, instead of the people that don't.
