i feel for you because i have a son and i know how i would feel if this was to happen to him (he is only 2 at the min but i mean in the future) all i can suggest is that you leave them and hopefully he will work her out and have enough then he will finish it.

My boyfriends best mate was being treated like this but we could not get it through to him and we did the same just left it - now they have spilt up and he has a lovely girlfriend who loves him so much and he has never been happier,
Hope this helps in some way chicken,

Nat xxxx

The only thing you can do is let him learn from his mistakes... otherwise he'll just go and do it again.

I'm sure he will learn down the line that she might not be the one for him, he might get hurt but most people do and you'll be there for a shoulder to cry on.

At the end of the day it's his choice to be with her, so there's not a lot you can do without interfering, he probably wouldn't appreciate that.

Its a triky one but the only thing you can do is let him see this girl. If you interfer then he will resent you. He has to learn what some people are like and the only way to do that is on his own

I can imagine its very hard, as parents, we feel the need to protect and guide our children but as they get older it becomes so hard to find a balance.

yes very true , i think as they get older parenting gets harder

I havent had that pleasure yet, we have an 8, 7, 3 and a bump..... (all girls) and we're not relishing the idea of the teenage years

Just say it's her or me, throw a diva strop and hope for the best.

If not, you can always follow the route of Madonna and adopt.
