[Hollyoaks bosses are reportedly axing
20 cast members, according to new reports.
The Channel 4 soap are ditching a whole host
of actors when it goes from five episodes
a week to three.

The Sun reports that script writers have
come up with a bizarre plan to 'time jump' the
programme by a year, which will fast-forward
20 characters out of the soap permanently]

I’ve never watched it as I detest soap operas though I did see one scene a few years ago and there were about 6 bleach blonde women on it … looked very odd

All the soaps seem lost at present.

I have to admit despite the often crazy storylines I like Hollyoaks.

Emmerdale has gone right down, I rarely ever watch that now.
EastEnders only depresses me more than anything else.

Plus Coronation Street currently has the worst writers possible in my view now.

emerdale did something similar decades ago with a plane crash :laugh:

We stopped watching Corrie the moment they dropped cliff hangers and started leaking storylines in advance !

Absolute nonsense .. imagine revealing all the best bits of a book on the first page ..


Back in the day there were over 20 million watching each episode
