how this works

Opening Challenge

i'll kick this one off, to get to know our teams, but from next challenges onwards it'll be Kate who hosts these

Nicky: Hello Ainsley, Hello Vicky, as you can see, both of you are the team captains of this years series

Ainsley you're the captain of team

the opening challenge is simple
1) bring your crate with wood, firesticks to the beach
2) create a fire to burn the rope to free yourself
3) solve a puzzle

Nicky: get ready, set, go!

the males are up first

Leo being the oldest is struggling but he does it at his own pace, the fastest at the beach are Danny, AJ, Jack and Romesh but are struggling to get their fire going, Leo, RuPaul, Nigel being able to keep up, Nick and Lucien are struggling to get to the beach

Leo to everyone's surprise is first to try and solve the puzzle, closely followed by AJ and Danny, Romesh is struggling at the fire challenge, RuPaul, Nigel and also Nick and Lucien still working on their fires
