Iceland: Volcano erupts with Northern Lights as backdrop…
 

A volcano in south-west Iceland is erupting for the fourth time in recent months. The volcano, near the fishing town of Grindavik, has been active for 28 days, the second longest eruption in the last three years, the first being six months in 2021. Timelapse footage shows lava erupting while the northern lights can be seen in the background.

Grindavik is one of the places we're staying when we go to Iceland in a couple of weeks :eyes:

I wonder if I should check that it's actually going to be open? It's just one night, the day before we go home we're supposed to be staying there

Seems to be just that one village that's affected and the Blue lagoon which was closed but I think is reopened now again
