I think these debates are just total failures.
Not because of the leaders. Because of the stupid questions asked and time wasted on. Plus inept presenters too. Very sadly. I doubt many learn much from these debates. |

Children could run the government as well as the tories have. My expectations for Starmer aren't high, to say the least, but let's be real about exactly who or what he is taking over from. |

That Labour MP has no plan for Water Sewage/Bankruptcy Tim on the Panel has a sensible plan |

I said it wasn't the leaders faults. I said it was the stupid questions asked and inept presenters faults. |
There was a vote to hold water bosses legally accountable for dumping faeces into our rivers, this week. Tories voted against, and labour abstained.

Starmer has now agreed to do 2 TV debates with Sunak

Honestly its about the only thing I care about now, if you cant trust the water coming out of your tap or swim in the sea or a river without worrying you could end up with some horrible illness ....eat fish....I dont think so ....just grim
|
Sunak's really awkward on TV.
I don't see this ending well for him. |
It's better when all the leaders of the main party's debate at the same time.

2 would be sufficient.
Every week would end up being a waste of time. No more than 3 anyhow in my view. I repeat how they format them is the problem, the stupid questions rather than more relevant issues that get asked. Plus presenters who fail to even try to handle these debates in any properly constructed way. I'm surprised Sunak wants 5 or 6. Considering the way he avoids ever sticking to the content of questions asked, never mind really answering most in PMQs. |
…I can’t say that either one of them are particularly notable or hold interest for their debating/putting across of views etc ways and skills…so I’m not hoping for any exciting watches…tbh, for me…neither of them are ‘leaders’, they’re little boys doing big boy’s jobs…which is terrifying, really…but such is the way of politics in these present times….
