what exactly happened? they used to be a consistent mid table premier league team, and now it seems they can't get back up to top level from championship


i just love the Riverside Stadium too :flutter:

Up the Boro.
Probably down to the fact that it is still owned by the local lad that saved them from going bust many moons ago.
Not gone abroad for big money owners.:shrug:

they kinda need a big foreign investor tbh, i mean to get back up to what they once had been, a consistent performing PL team


same with Blackburn Rovers (for whom the whole Venky's consortium didn't go down that well, with not much finances either)


Bolton Wanderers also gone down quite a long while from what they used to be, also due to low finances i guess
