flown out of the UK after he reached
a plea deal with US prosecutors,
12 years after he fled to Ecuador's embassy
to avoid a sex crime probe.

over a decade over allegations he hacked
the US government and released damning
footage showing the US army
committing war crimes,
today left HMP Belmarsh in London and flew
out of the country on a flight from
Stansted at 5pm today,
according to WikiLeaks.

group to X purportedly showed
Assange travelling in a car to
Stansted Airport,
before cutting to him boarding
the plane at the travel hub.]

There was a nine year investigation into accusations of rape before the charges were dropped.
They initially couldn't get him on espionage, so they accused him of rape, without evidence. Now these two women can't remember anything, so it looks like a honeytrap.

I've never liked the man. He put at risk many lives and is resonsible for some deaths.:fist:

But I laughed when I saw recent video of him, looking about three stone overweight, with a big gut.

NOT the impression that we were being forced fed by the media and his supporters that he was 'seriously ill', and was a skeleton who couldn't get out of bed.

Assange highlighted abuse of prisoners in U.S custody, human rights violations and civilian deaths. These releases resulted in two major resignations DNC and caused a lot of harm to the Clinton campaign. Nobody died because of what Assange did.
MSM tell us that Assange never retracted names, but he did.
MSM ask if Assange is a real journalist. He likely has more awards for journalism than those working for the big rags today.

Let's remember though, these reports were done in the early days of Twitter and FB and back then, everyone was either excited or nervous about citizen journalism. Compare that to now when we find huge amounts of leaks/truths/exposures.
If they sent every journalist to jail for revealing war crimes, they would have to build new prisons.
Now we have a huge amount of citizen journalism and people are moving away from MSM because institutional media remain very tight with the political system.

Nobody died because of what Assange did.
