Why does our new PM need a script to tell us what he believes in?

you need a script because you need only one time to say things perfectly without forgetting something (and in a stressful environment what parliament is you never know if you forget to say anything)

Joking aside, hopefully he is not sh**. US Headlines claim he is "dull". I'll take dull and not a dullard... guess I'll have to catch back up on my UK politics.

The conservatives have normalised corruption and contempt for anyone outside their circle for the last 5 years or so, they have dropped the bar on competence to an entirely new low, so the situation we have now is one where the new government only needs to make slight improvements for the bar to have been raised significantly. The funny thing is that I am viewing it from somewhere on the centre right and I was genuinely happy when I saw so many of the senior members of the previous government slung out on their asses one by one. They let the country down and they paid the price
