My team Hull FC are having one of their worst seasons ever.

But today we beat the reigning Super League champions, Challenge cup winners and World club champions, Wigan.

So this is my mood.

The lyrics aren't really applicable. Especially as they're pretty ambiguous and, for the most part, open to interpretation. But the vibe connects with me in this moment. Undertones of malaise and wistful nostalgia for times gone by, etc. That's probably the opposite of what the song's trying to evoke, but it's what it brings to the surface for me.

We don't get relegated whatever happens.

London are already gonna be relegated. They could have won the league and still be relegated.

It's to do with how stable your business model is.

London are a part time club and don't fit the criteria for the new model the Rugby League are moving into

To be honest, I don't know the ins and outs of it. I'm an on field fan rather than what's going on off field.

That's good to know.
