Deadpool & Wolverine's 'constant gay jokes' leaves Marvel fans completely divided

[The internet has been left divided over
the 'constant gay jokes' in
Deadpool & Wolverine - with some people
branding them as 'relentless and annoying'
and others coming to the Marvel film's defense.

Deadpool & Wolverine hit theaters on Friday,
and the superhero movie raked in a
whopping $211 million at the box office
in its first weekend.

But viewers seemed divided over the flick
on social media, particularly
with the amount of quips that Ryan Reynold's
character Deadpool made about wanting
to get intimate with Hugh Jackman's
character Wolverine.]

I think from the first film
that's his style?

:joker:

No! Not Comedy.

Let's get the pitchforks guys, we must squash out Comedy, especially of the LGBT and sexual innuendo kind.

Honestly, this is the whole Superman putting on his shoes in an "effeminate" way all over again.

It's pathetic.

How would these people ever cope with watching the Merlin series that the BBC made that starred Colin Morgan and Anthony Stuart Head? There were so many gay innuendo jokes between Merlin and Arthur that would make these people blow a gasket.:joker:

Deadpool having a big ol' crush on Wolverine has always been a thing and it's in-character for him to be very no-filter about that.

I've not seen the film yet to know if it's laboured excessively.

i tried to like deadpool, but it just didn't work for me. Wolverine was pretty 1 dimensional attempting to be deep, which again, really didn't do it for me

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are best friends for a very long time

i also haven't seen the film yet, waiting for it to arrive on Disney+ (for top quality of 4k of course)

…no, me neither…Ryan Reynolds *cough* is pretty irritating to watch for me…hopefully Wolverine will find him less so and a bit more endearing…

…actually, I don’t think that I minded the first movie either because it was a probably a first for me in the Ryan experience…it wasn’t a ‘love’ film, but it wasn’t an uggggghhhhh one either….he only became an irritant when I watched another Ryan movie and then another…then I just couldn’t take any more…

See this is why he makes a good deadpool though... Deadpool is meant to love himself, be over-confident, arrogant, and irritating :joker:

I realise that YOU don’t really hate him so this rant is not aimed at you !!

Hating on Ryan Reynolds is as unfathomable as hating on Chris Martin of Coldplay ..

There are soooooo many unpleasant, detestable, despicable people on this planet yet many hate in two of the nicest characters around

Soooo confusing

Yeah I remember Arthur always making fun of Merlin, he said to him one time " don't be such a girl " ...or something when Merlin was upset .
