As a kid in Africa there was no tv.:bawling:
Mind you we didn’t have time for tv, too busy enjoying sunshine and outdoor activities.

Saw this at the cinema and cried my eyes out when they crucified Jesus

I can't really think of anything specifically aimed at children that made me cry or roused feelings of genuine terror in me when I was a child. One of the few things I remember making me cry as a child was watching the end of The Elephant Man where Merrick seemingly commits suicide via lying down and suffocating under the weight of his own head.

As to a feeling of real terror, I remember convincing my parents to let me stay up late and watch Halloween H20 alongside them. I immediately left the room after I saw Michael Myers slit Marion Chambers' throat with a huge kitchen knife.

Obviously I saw things like Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of the Dark and those naturally creeped me out and made me feel uneasy, but nothing in those sorts of shows ever really 'got' me and shook me up enough that I'd call them traumatic, etc.

My Dog Skip, starring Frankie Muniz

dog movies always make me cry honestly

-------
in terms of horror or what creeps me out, i ain't easily scared, i like watching Goosebumps, the Alien films, the Halloween films, the Scream films

most scary monster, definitely without any doubt for me the xenomorph,
Spoiler:

also how smart they are, like we saw in the 4th one resurrection, when one of the xeno's sacrificed itself so they could use its acid blood to escape through the floor, and also how the xeno's paid attention to the cryogenic gas button, how it literally freezed one of the guards entering the area to investigate by pressing that button with its inner teeth
had to put this in a spoiler, just in case if not everyone here has seen the alien films already
