USA : Nevada 3 Arrested told a black man to find a hanging tree
Was just on CNNHD USA Live on UK TV
"Hanging Tree" goes back to the Early USA https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/08...2903035349.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/08...2903114058.jpg [A white man at a public event in Nevada told a black man filming him that there was a 'hanging tree' in his backyard. The men were attending the August 2nd 'Hot August Nights' in Virginia City, a day-long tribute to classic cars in the city just outside Reno. The man filming, who later uploaded the video to his TikTok account titled 'unclerickyd1' and was identified by local news reports as Rick Johnson, starts with an agitated voice suggesting they had already begun provoking one another.] ['Keep talking. And where's the tree at to hang people at? Where is that? Where is the hanging tree at?' The aggressor, whose identity has yet to be revealed, flips him off with both middle fingers and responds: 'In your backyard'.] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-backyard.html |
Disgusting. I know which one I'd prefer to see dangle from a tree and it's not the black guy.
|
Wasn't there that actor from Seinfeld ,who shouted a horrible comment like this to a black guy who heckled him at a comedy gig . What the hell is wrong with people.
|
Honestly the world is just crazy, imagine saying that

America gets like that I await Wise Maru giving her take |
Disgusting…
|
…I watched the video for this…/…the guy filming, Rick Johnson…?…he was asking about vote registering…it was obviously abhorrent, what was said to him by the guy sitting outside but it’s even more awful and sickening that others seemed to be defending him and one guy appeared to shake his hand at one point…

Wait that’s what I thought the title said? Maybe I’m wrong!!??
|
…ahhh, it was confusing because the article stated…
The aggressor has yet to be identified and it's unclear if he faces any charges related to the incident but the Stoney County Sheriff's Office has stated that it's a 'concerning incident' and under investigation. The Nevada Attorney General's Office has said in a statement that it will provide local authorities with assistance. …but you’re correct, Caitlin…there has been an arrest and of three people as others were also defending the guy … |

The mans words have no impact on society unless they are shared by millions of agitators trying to stir up un needed tensions. It's like wow..world war one was started cause Frank Ferdinand was assassinated.. (WHO, WHY, HIM) If minor pap, like this gets shared enough it's only backing up certain thoughts certain people already had. Some random hick in america...ffs. Zzzzzzzz |

It's a lot more serious than someone being racist on Twitter, or saying something more casually racist. |

I guess another influence is whether the person reading the news is from an area where it's easier to blindly believe people can have these things filtered or conditioned out by just being a part of a positive in-group. That's not been my experience with people and so I don't believe at all there's a magic switch we can turn these elements on or off politically/culturally that can prevent sociopathy. Subsequently, I don't think because someone is American, for instance, that inclines them to be less racist. However, it does mean that the community is more mindful of cultural differences, on average. It does not mean they think the same way. (Edit) (Early American life was about getting away from the social and economic restrictions being imposed abroad and being able to "mind one's own business" by moving to the States... so all kinds of elements moved here, but with their own reasons for doing so... religious reasons being one of the key factors) True evil lives in some people and it'll come out in a number of ways, but particularly in people who look for easy targets. And they are the kind to lash out at people for no other reasons. They target them for a variety of statistics, not just their race. Mental health or disablities is another big one. The idea is they pose no threat and it's a chance to vent any internalized rage. And I mean true rage. Not whimpy opinions, but full blown grudges that are seered into memory. If you watch arrest videos, a lot of things like this can come out seemingly out of no where once one feels they have nothing to lose... here's my chance to let them know how I REALLY feel. I guess that's what's happened here when this person was confronted for his comments. Speaking of arrests, they did arrest 3 of them and it's for the minimum they could reasonably get them for. I was curious if the one could get aggravated assault for the "lynching tree over there" comment. It doesn't require contact, just the threat of such... It would be at the line of what could be justified, but if they thought the repeating of the line and the intimidation factor established intent... 3 arrested in alleged racist incident caught on camera in northern Nevada https://www.8newsnow.com/news/local-...rthern-nevada/ https://i.postimg.cc/R6L9prkn/image.png |
Do you think that these three are a product of incest? @Maru
Because you said that they might be a family that might not welcome outsiders, would that include having to be in sexual relationships with their own family members? |

it'll come out in a number of ways, but particularly in people who look for easy targets.] Yes, it is sad, looked bad on CNN HD USA on our UK TV in the afternoon. |
