Shark cordless is a good one Sheriff.

Can't go wrong with a trusty Henry imo.

I’m looking for Bagless really plus being a man I’m a bit heavy handed
My house gets an insane amounts of dust

If you're not bothered about it being cordless, get one of the heftier corded Sharks - they're built like tanks, you're not going to break it although they are also in return, quite heavy. Not a wimp's vacuum. They're still bagless.

I personally wouldn't bother with the cordless ones as your "main" hoover. By all means if you can get both, they're handy for a bit of spot cleaning/cleaning the car. But you need a more butch mains-plugged option for the whole house clean (especially if you have pets), the battery/rechargeable ones just don't have the power.

Have to agree you can go behind a Henry and pick up a ton of debris that it’s left behind
Unfortunately it’s still using old technology, sucking through a bag
Plus they smell after a while

I’m draw towards a Miele pro bag less
But 450 is going to hurt

The shark pet (corded/mains power not battery) uprights do a decent job so long as you keep the spinney brush bit cleared, it does clog up a bit in shedding season.

I'm always horrified about how much labrador hair is in there when I empty it, when the floors didn't even look hairy :worry:.

I know, we only have a small dog but the amount of hair that comes off her is crazy

We have a plug in upright Shark but after you have used the Dyson which my aunt gifted to me as she bought two as you do, I would never use anything else now, its so light and picks up everything, plus you can use it in the car, its brillant, the Shark feels like a ton weight if I use it, gives your arms a work out I suppose
