It doesn't look as once-digested as a lot of budget meals tbh.

Emirates, Qatar, Singapore, Malaysian and Cathay all serve pretty good food on their flights. I’ve flown with all many times. Emirates are my least fave though, the service always feels very underwhelming compared to the others.

I flew with Singapore airlines and they were great I thought

Emirates have really gone down in my books since the first time I flew with them. Still good, but not extraordinary.

Recently flew Eithad and they were amazing and very tasty food. This is the airline to go with IMO.

As for Qatar, it is a pathetic disgrace of an airline. Every flight I've flown with them has always been a disaster. Cannot remember the food, and I last flew with them in February so I guess that says a lot.

Saudi's food is great, but they are are dry airline so that spoils the fun.

Fantastic.

I miss Qatar’s Cardiff flight. Used to be so nice going Cardiff to Doha to Auckland. I hope they bring it back.

We’re going to Australia in February and I think we’re going with Etihad

They’re not bad. I find Zayed airport chaotic though.
