Walking along roads
 

Why do people look at you like the devil when they are walking on the road with or without pets

Listen you silly cow you are walking on the road
I’m not driving on a foot path

Rant over

Is there a footpath available?

Were they on the way back from the bezelbepub?

I recall the time a dangerous woman was walking down the road in just a bra and caused an accident

She was walking her dog

No just a stuck up dog walker thinking they own the road

Then respect the countryside code :nono:

(As long as she was on the correct side of the road walking towards you).

I always give walkers horse rider and cyclists plenty orifice room and make sure it’s safe for everyone involved

But I’m sorry if you going to walk on the road you are going to get vehicles coming towards you at the speed limit

There was a sign up in a field keep all dogs on leads as there were cows in the field

This stuck up woman who know thought it didn’t apply to her
Let her dogs of and w one got trampled to death

Not wise to do the speed limit on country roads for this reason tbf

Literally just about to say this

I can drive almost any vehicle and have done

20 odd years ago I owned and drove some of the fastest cars on the road

Driving the speed limit is fine regardless of who is on the road

20s plenty.

In reverse gear

I mean it’s very idiotic to drive at the speed limit on a country road. Common sense would surely tell you to go a bit under for you know, safety reasons.

Not always on country roads, especially at corners. Many hikers, walkers and horse riders out.

But isn’t that the reason we have them..:shrug:

And Deer

The number of times young Deer have shot out in front of me at night

There’s a country road near me that has a 60mph limit. You’re lucky if you can go 35-40 on it.

Country roads are different though. More likely to encounter the things I mentioned.

Same applies to walkers/hikers. They should be following the countryside code too.
