Although I didn't care much for Weller's subsequent bands which were a bit soppy.

They were okay but I think that was a time Weller swapped his mod suits for colourful jumpers and slacks. Terry Hall did the same when he left The Specials. He totally changed his image. I preferred him in The Specials.

I like The Jam and some of Paul Weller's solo stuff.

I didn't like his other group's songs very much though.
