ITV House Layout not changing.....hugely disappointing

Nah if this is the way forward with ITV im not investing. Exactly the same layout house in a space where they could do absolutely anything is unforgivable. They managed it on channel4 and channel 5 with less money and less space. This is just lazy beyond words

Hugely disappointing

Yeah I agree it would have been nice to have a different layout to the last series but now we have seen the pictures it's a lot better themed than last time, as all paint drops etc march the eye really well. Can't wait to see what the opening credits will look like, what I don't want to see are the housemates eyes this time, not as a preview of the housemates not in the credits

Keeping costs down.

May improve chances of BB 2025.

Didn’t they demolish the house?

LaLaLand 04-10-2024 03:27 PM

Very disappointing.

BigAsher 04-10-2024 03:39 PM

I'm just hoping they're not changing much because they're moving in 2025. Might just be wishful thinking but hoping they actually facilitate a move to somewhere like Bovingdon

I'd mind less if I liked the layout. The long corridor is awful.

Wait is this true? Where did you see they're moving?

I hope they make up for their lazy attempt at a new house with a bang-out season so we can actually see a move to a better location. This "new house" is such a major letdown. Really missing early/mid-2000's Big Brother.

It has changed the Drip Plastic Bits added to walls.

Using the same design is OK

Who goes in matters more

Also I get the feeling a secret room is among it....................

But all Kitchen Fittings were Removed First
and other rooms etc

So it was a shell to demolish

I didn't say they were moving, I said I hoped they were

Factoring in the layout of the house and what has and has not changed with the layout, you all need to be glad that you lot aren't dealing with a 19 year old house that's ready to fall apart like the BBUS house.

BBDodge 04-10-2024 07:48 PM

We don't even know that there will be a BB 2025, let alone what studio it's at.

I did expect a bigger change, that said, it looks a bit more Big Brother like this year

iRyan 04-10-2024 08:56 PM

It's not a big change, but it's still a beautiful house. Budget wise, I can see why gutting the house and starting over every year doesn't make sense. I don't think the budget is any higher than it was on the previous channels, reality TV in general does not receive the same viewership and advertising money it used to. My only gripe is that the 'theme' and color scheme is so similar to last year. I feel like they could've done something a bit different, without totally redesigning the house.

Yeah it's more or less the same, with added paint splash and squiggly stuff to make our eyes go funny( not a fan of that bit). I still like the house in general...but I agree the colour and layout had such potential to try something new . Maybe even another area like a hut or snug or treehouse hideaway type thing.

They could have had an entire new theme ,instead of just a little maze & paint splash. In the past ...every house, especially in the channel 4 days looked entirely like a new house & vibe, but oh well.

Beso 05-10-2024 05:01 PM

I'm expecting more wigs.
