Do you have one? i.e you buy a item or two every week and keep it for Christmas, think I will start mine today when I do my shop

Niamh. 10-10-2024 11:36 AM

I just bung it all in the bottom of my wardrobe. If you mean presents?

Alf 10-10-2024 11:39 AM

I'm a man. I do mine in the late mad rush.

Yeah food and non food stuff like foil, wrapping paper, crackers, batteries all the stuff you need at Christmas, I find it a good way to budget buying a few bits every week

I always buy my wrapping paper just after Christmas and put it away.

I have started stocking up on some goodies that I put away when I do the shopping each week.

Absolutely not
It’s one poxy day of the year and puts pressure on those less fortunate
Should be abolished

Jessica. 10-10-2024 01:59 PM

No but I want to be more organised this year, I want to start Christmas shopping very soon, it's hard to find vegan treats where I am so I really should pick up a few things to have over the holidays as I spot them. I also haven't decided what I'm making this year, maybe a nut roast.

Not in my house it doesn't  they are like gannets

anyhow I am not talking about presents, I am talking about buying a few bits each week so the Christmas shop is not overwhelming ......sensible action Sheriff :pipe:

rusticgal 10-10-2024 02:46 PM

I have a big box in the garage and like you I usually start in the next week to start buying bits so it doesn't all get left until the last minute and mentally I don't feel I have spent that much lol...
