…oh I’d forgotten that I made this thread when I saw the trailer so I’ve posted in the general movie thread…I watched the movie yesterday…it was chilling and tense and terrifying and an horrific story…I won’t say anymore and I won’t post any spoilers atm but it’s a true story that really impacts …and although it’s the story of a chilling serial killer, it’s very much from the eyes of his victims also…

aww she's great

Spoiler:

Absolutely chilling film and worse to know this all happened, a lot of women and girls died as well because of people reporting this guy not being taken seriously and the 21 year old and 12 year old murdered by him when he was out on bail, unforgivable really of the justice system. It's a terrifying story

Spoiler:

…I loved it but hated it because I loved that it didn’t in any way glamourise, which these serial killer dramatisations can be prone to do…but obviously hated what he did to those poor girls and we really got inside their terror and felt it when those moments of realisation hit…so incredibly chilling…

…and a,so to have directed herself as well in the first time as a director…I mean, I know she’ll have had assistant director(s) but there was so many things that would have added layers of difficulty to it all…the terror of the girls was so perfectly pitched for us all to feel …I could barely breathe a few times…

Spoiler:

…she was great because she was the person who led to him being arrested and stopped the deaths…how she kept her composure to be able to act that affection for him after what he had done to her was just incredible…when I have time after BB, I want to see what I can find about her life following that all…

Watched this last night....very well made and just horrific that he went on to murder so many when he could have been stopped
