Under the instruction to venture into Big Brother's secret basement Ali and Dean make their way into the secret lair whilst going unnoticed by the other Housemates.

Once sat in the basement they are presented with two screens as Big Brother says: “This is Big Brother, welcome back to my secret basement. The Housemates have now nominated in the pairs you chose but the public will be voting for Housemates individually. You now face your next decision as Heads of House.”

Why cant we vote for a pair?

Should be a double, a pair should be evicted.

There’s four weeks left with 14 housemates to get rid of. Like last year it’ll be a mad rush at the end again.

Because a good housemate will inevitably leave. Wouldn't be fair.

Cynically, it's a move to try and save Khaled, Nathan or both.

It will be interesting to see whether they also switch to a single eviction, rather than a double, this week. Something tells me they'll stick to a double.

I'm happy for this. For instance, if Izaaz/Nathan were a choice, I would want to vote for Izaaz but not Nathan. It could become a difficult decision to make, depending on the choices, and I would rather abstain from voting in that eventuality.

No they have to do the same as Khaled last week (killer nom a pair or save and replace).

Well I guess that makes sense. For a second I thought they were doing a BB7 double coupling eviction.

That was a special moment only because Spiral and Michael were useless.

It's now being reported this week will be a single, rather than double, eviction.

If so, there is definitely a "make it up as you go along" vibe.

Oh! I actually wanted a double. Surprisingly.

I wonder if they think they're going to be evicted in pairs, though?... the HOHs seemed to think so. Sneaky.

Hallie was the 3rd HM to be evicted last year in a single eviction...

We'll have to see if it's true. Probably won't find out until the vote opens tonight.
