I'm not even against a showmance, but theirs is so forced. The more of Nathan I see the less I like him in general, and he started off strong for me. I am getting a bit bored of BP... Sometimes too much camera time is not a good thing. Neither of them have anything left to add except for this ridiculous romance narrative.

Weirdly, I am actually more down with the thing between Segun and Hanah... That is far more organic and real, IMO. It is actually really cute. I am not sure either would allow it to go anywhere on TV, but I love seeing them together.

Ya, I liked baked potato but I'm gone right off her.

Gusto Brunt 22-10-2024 02:32 PM

It's him more than her. He just comes across as so insincere.

I feel a bit sorry for Baked as he's obviously playing her for the cameras.

Crimson Dynamo 22-10-2024 02:33 PM

When did the agreement to have a "showmance" happen and what did they both agree would be the point?

Gusto Brunt 22-10-2024 02:33 PM

I hope Nathan goes on Friday.

Niamh. 22-10-2024 02:34 PM

Yeah same here, it's so contrived looking and cringey. Nathan was my favourite but I nearly wish he goes on Friday to see if BP can be salvaged

They could have met during the audition process maybe

joeysteele 22-10-2024 02:36 PM

I blame both equally.
They both at times come across sickeningly pathetic.

However as general housemates I still like them.
For now anyway.

Ammi 22-10-2024 02:36 PM

…yeah, from bake to fake potato quite quickly, wasn’t it…I still like BP and would like to see more of her/interactions with others in the house and more friendships and bonds forming for her…that’s the thing, isn’t it with showmances, that it’s a bit more restrictive in the HL more focusing on a couple rather than individuals…I know that Nathan won’t be evicted this week, I don’t feel he will…but for me it’s a good opportunity to stop the romance if he went so I’m thinking my vote atm…obviously it’s all down to my vote only…..I have the power…:pipe:…

I don't even really care to talk about either of them much anymore, such is my level of disinterest. The showmance parts of the show are unequivocally the worst parts. I don't understand why producers think people are interested in any of that. It is so mind numbingly boring. Last night the ITVX stream started buffering in the middle of one of their boring stare-offs, and I wasn't peeved in the slightest. I just thought, play on, maestro. Play on..

Vicky. 22-10-2024 02:42 PM

Same. Nathan was my fave too..

we heard all the audio they had from that brief time

BP asked him if he would care to visit an English Vinyard

Is that code for "lets concoct an elaborate showmance in the tiny chance it could benefit either of us?"

When they kissed though that slurpy kissing sound, I think I'd rather listen to Lily screech

Watching Rosie and Nathan is awkward viewing.

Watching Segun and Hanah play fight, jump on each other and how they find time for each other is lovely to watch. Really natural and I love that she is a bit bossy but he just goes with it.

Beso 22-10-2024 02:47 PM

I think it's the start of an inseparable bond, and can see them living a long and happy life together, as a couple once out the house..

Why would you think BB would not play the audio of them planning a "showmance"?
