Mixing it up

I would really love if Big Brother did a mass eviction at some point and replaced evicted housemates with some really out there new characters. On previous series when this has been done, I think it has really spiced things up and brought another element to the show. It’s fun to see the more comfortable and collected current housemates, sweat, lose their cool and ultimately show a completely different side to themselves. Does anyone think that this will happen this year or is it something that they would enjoy seeing as well?

I don't think it'll happen in a 6 week series but yep I'd like to see it. Good post. 👍

I do miss the OG big brother for that reason, I think it used to be an extra 3 weeks and towards the end is when people really would start losing the plot and the cracks would begin to show.

Yes. Totally. Have you watched BB UK since the first series or did you start viewing later?

I missed the first series but kinda started getting into it during the second one. There have been a couple of stand out series for me where I’ve not wanted to miss an episode and others I can take it or leave it. Last series I had to stop watching though, as I found the contestants very boring. So it’s nice to see they have picked some quirky characters this time round. Have you been watching from the beginning yourself?

I have HB. I loved the idea of watching unknowns live together from the start, I'm a bit of a people watcher, lol. BB1 had a great cast, liked them all. Was especially sad Caroline left early but was really pleased with Craig as the eventual winner.

I would love for the likes of prime or something similar to start showing previous series. It would be fab to watch through them all again. Interested to see if my opinion now would change on previous early housemates as I was only a teen back then.

You mean like bb16?!?

They got rid of the twins, harriet, kieron and hot sarah and replaced with mr showbiz, awful Harry and some pther dregs? They newrly ruined the seies if it wasn't for marc helen aislyene and nikki comig back!!

Also no 4 people evictions they ruin it so much. Who remembers bb11!!

Not the 4 in 4 out. I thought we left that in 2015. There's not enough time for it anyways. That's the problem with 16 housemates for a 6 week series. It should've been 12. Hopefully next year they recommission the show for an 8+ week series and 12-14 housemates

Four In Four Out was an utter disaster considering BB16 was doing well it's own before then. I understand some people thought last year was a bit dull, but I'll glad the producers didn't do anything drastic - I think that helped with how the tension built organically as it went on.
