Two things I kinda hate...

Secret tasks and the inevitable letters from home.

Now, the letters from home are for another day, but secret tasks have been awful and way overused this year.

I honestly do not give a **** about them, do not find them fun, and just see them as pointless filler material. Having 50% of an episode about one is too much for me.

The tasks in general this year have been lame, but that was such a pointless waste of airtime.

the overreaction to letters from home is painful to watch

…you kinda hate letters from home…?…

…one size doesn’t fit all letters from home, though…:fan:…

It feels like there is a secret task every other day now. I thought the one last night was fun but it took up too much of the HL's and sucked all the drama out of the house from the previous night.

The letters from home is tiresome, but I actually enjoyed the oblivious task.

Letters from Home is repulsive viewing.

Thank Gawd I always record the show.

I fast forward adverts and all the Ali talking bits, and I will do also with LFH. :p :D

Seems a few did, which is fair.

I hate the letters from home! I feel they’re so unnecessary in such a short period away from home, and that they are used merely to milk over-emotional scenes. Something about them feels private to me, and I think they can lead to inauthentic reactions.

The emotional phone calls aswell ,and the sad music was very soap opera  .

It's ridiculous, Dean's reaction was the stupidest **** I've seen in a long time

It was an embarrassment

Garfie 29-10-2024 04:19 PM

Fair enough if that’s Dean’s natural reaction, but it’s not something i particularly want to witness. It feels like an uncomfortable intrusion on what should be a private moment. A bit like sticking your head through a neighbour’s open window as they are trying to express their undying love to the object of their affections!

I like some of the secret tasks, but they feel a bit too frequent. I loved the Oblivious task and it came off the back of a few fractious days so it was nice to see the house united and having fun.

What I do hate though are these tasks that are just BB **** stirring by sharing private conversations with the house. I understand rot an extent if it's a rule break, but the telephone thing yesterday was just ridiculous and didn't really work anyway.
