who are your own musical icons?

in light of tonights first ever Icons Week Special on Strictly Come Dancing

i wanna ask everyone on this forum, who are your own musical icons, from which decade and why?

Nicky91 02-11-2024 01:36 PM

for me personally i think that has to be Selena Gomez, i grew up my entire teens listening to her music with her band The Scene (at that time) and also watching her on tv in wizards of waverly place

but if i have to name a british artist

it'd be Pixie Lott for me personally, i adore her easy listening pop songs and i was stanning her massively hard when she did strictly (i cried so much when she got eliminated unfairly still if you ask me)

and regarding my own nation Netherlands, i am 110% devoted member of the Maanhang fanbase

4.8 rating on IMDB

Sounds more like a massive flop than a hit.

Black Dagger 02-11-2024 08:06 PM

The Cure
Arcade Fire
Girls Aloud
Kate Bush
Prince
Florence & The Machine

I’ve got loads though

Mystic Mock 02-11-2024 08:17 PM

Matt Bellamy and Chester Bennington.

They have/had in Chester's case, my favourite vocals in Music.
