Who is Rosie?
 

I don't feel as if we even know who this woman is.

Weeks of being filmed, weeks of seeing her on our screen and.. For what?

She has simply existed in that house and reacted to others. She is simply a mirror, or an empty vessel. She has no identity of her own at all and I refuse to believe that's just because of the edits.

Are there even any active fans of hers?

I like Rosie, but when away from the showmance.

She is easy to like because she is pretty and inoffensive. She says nothing.

She actually has a lot in common with Khaled tbh, though he is called out for it and she isn't.

Didn't she admit to having plastic surgery?

I know that doesn't necessarily make her ugly tbf, but maybe it's just me.:laugh:

…the same as Ben, I like Rosie a lot…but I feel that showmances in general are quite restrictive in getting to know a housemate … so often when she has screen time, Nathan plants his face or the back of his head so that she isn’t so visible…I love the Rosie we see when she’s with others though and I loved that time when she and Sarah were paired in the task and watching her ‘light up’ and have fun…I’m not sure that I see so much in common with Khaled in that he seems a more serious person in general or a less ‘involved’ person…the isn’t a criticism, he just seems more thoughtful and reserved etc…whereas Rosie feels like someone who is just so joyful and excitable and fun filled that might have been more outward without the show nance bit…actually more the complete opposite…:laugh:…for my thoughts anyway….

The similarity being drawn is that they are both pretty and both seem to only act as empty vessels for others in the house.

I would argue that Rosie is probably every bit as 'fake' and 'performatively nice' as Khaled, if he is gonna be accused of those things then so probably should she.

Not sure. It doesn't bother me though if it's done well though so I am not the one to ask. It's just the more extreme disfigurations that some seem to go for that I think wtf.

….hmmmmm, interesting…yeah, I do get that they’re both physically ‘pretty’… but Khaled (seems..) to be self aware of that and so it brings a confidence and self assured aspect to him….whereas Rosie I don’t think, sees herself as others see her and is not very confident within herself, I get the vibe of…

I at least have a sense of who Khaled is. I think he’s interesting and insightful esp on the livestreams. Whereas Rosie doesn’t really…say anything of substance ever? It feels like she’s always avoiding participating in every conversation. Not to be mean, I think it comes from a place of real social awkwardness for her. And the showmance hasn’t helped.

We dont know any more about her than we do about Thomas and he gets alot of flak

She seems like a nice person alright but you're right in that I know nothing about her at all other than she says that she thinks she's hard to love.

Oh 100%, she comes off so fake to me, i believe she’s a nice girl, but it’s the dramatics and certain looks she gives, clearly acting up

She's a very odd ball , I saw winner potential in the early days.

She's just there to fill the numbers ....comes across a bit giddy and silly at times ,she just keeps making those exaggerated facial expressions. Whilst the focus stays on her cringe worthy showmance with Andy Murray :notimpressed: .

I’ve seen no personality shine through which is a pity. Consequently I haven’t warmed to her on any level.

The showmance is a pain in the butt. Last night they were torking about slimy Nathan wanting to have it off. It almost made me vomit.
