IS IT TRUE THAT MEMBERS SHOULD NOT PINCH YOUR THREADS ?
 

Can I ask very most kindly is it true that members shouldnt pinch other members threads that they have made on the forum as I wrote out a thread earlier to wish my friend Markchap a HAPPY BIRTHDAY but someone which I wont mention has merged my message and I wanted Markchap to see that I made that thread just for his birthday thanks Ann :sad::rolleyes::cloud:

One of the mods will have merged it.

Someone posted it before you in the chat+games section, and then you posted it in the general chat section. So mods merged the two threads together because we didn't need BOTH threads saying the same thing.

No-one stole it. It's still rightfully yours.

Edit: Actually, in theory... you stole his thread, since he posted first. Oooh controversial :tongue:

If you can't see a thread already posted, post it anyway and mods will merge them together if it's a repeat (like they have done in this case).

Sorry Ann but Chrizzle made a birthday thread for MarkChap?! last night.

I didnt bother looking which I should do as the mods always tell us to do I will look in future though and thanks Matt for leeting me know too thats very kind of you :blush2:

I can understand how frustrating it must feel, when you make a thread wishing someone "Happy Birthday" and then, before you know it, the thread gets merged and the author of one thread, before it was merged, suddenly dissappears and you feel that the sentiment has been lost in some way.

But, as explained in this thread kindly by Lauren, it was just a misunderstanding.

But regardless of any misunderstanding, I am sure that MarkChap!? will be more than chuffed to see how much he is liked and that two threads were started to wish him well on his Birthday.

That is a special experience, and I am sure that from reading this thread, MarkChap!? will know who to really thank now:thumbs:
