Do you have your advent calendar yet?

Well?

Ammi 10-11-2024 08:11 AM

…no, it’s generally my son’s partner who gives us one each year…(…well, one each…)…but they’re all baby’d up with their little son’s first Christmas…she sent a pic yesterday of one that she’d bought for him…with all of the pockets to add the advent gifts each year…but I think we’ve been cast aside and we’re going to have to find our own way in the world now…but I’m not sure that I’ll buy any because I always forget to open the doors anyway…and then when they’re coming over, I’ve opened all of the doors that morning to catch up…

Niamh. 10-11-2024 08:33 AM

No, I won't get one but I'll probably get one for Luke

…the M & S ones are very good, I’ve had those a few times and strangely, always remembered to open those doors……but then you have to have a minimum spend to be able to get it at that whatever cost and I’m not really an M&S person in general so I’d probably struggle with the minimum spend and then it’s still a lot to spend on a calendar as well…I did love to open them though because…(…rather than just know there would be a chocolate there…)…they were actually surprises…

Adamw92 10-11-2024 08:33 PM

No but I’ll make sure to get one very soon

Black Dagger 10-11-2024 09:07 PM

No but I’ve preordered a book one that I’m excited for and will get a standard chocolate one as well.

Really good. It’s quite spenny, so we only buy it when it’s on offer.

Absolutely not haha. I’m not sharing. We have our own.

Benjamin 21-11-2024 07:15 AM

We did the hotel chocolat sharing one last year (there’s two chocolates of the same flavour each day).

Tony's chocolate is gorgeous for a treat. I can confirm.

The white raspberry popping candy and white strawberry cheesecake are amazing :flutter:

Nope, I haven't had advent calendars in years tbh

The everything bar is my fave.

I have 2 sitting in the cupboard, driving the kids mad... Like they don't have enough chocolate. Also have one for the dog.

Black Dagger 21-11-2024 12:29 PM

I’ve got a book one on the way and also have a sweet one. Just need to get a chocolate one now.

Also got Milo one!

I thought you meant you had a Milo one (as in the hot drink)
