I hate prize fund twists

They always work out ****ed

Not a single person to ever take money from the prize fund has deserved it.

I think Segun should do the right thing and give the money back he to Ali that he stole.

jones89 16-11-2024 01:05 AM

Should he bugger

No
he Won the £10K
Fair and Square.

Political Ali is not complaining

GlitterUK 16-11-2024 01:07 AM

I hope Segun enjoys it for having to walk over hot coals in the final night.

UserSince2005 16-11-2024 01:08 AM

Voting had already opened. And clearly Ali had already won given the percentages. Disgusting for BB just to give her money away. Segan is a complicit thief and if he is Christian he will do the right thing.

Exactly! He got dragged so bad tonight

GoldHeart 16-11-2024 01:14 AM

Should he fck !....what a load of steaming poo poo , if anything BB should have given him 50k instead!!! .

The money was BB's prize fund to give to whoever. And Segun earned it ! :clap1: . He was never going to win ,so I'm glad he got something out of it . So well done to him  .

UserSince2005 16-11-2024 01:18 AM

The prize fund should never be played with it is for the winner, not to just give away in a game of chance

Especially when the prize fund is only £100k.
Ali deserves multiple times that for the entertainment she bought

Kate! 16-11-2024 01:21 AM

My take. The housemates play for 100k. None of that prize fund should ever be diluted.

And Segan didn't earn the 10k?? It was pure chance whoever got it. Luck of a draw. Took him seconds to pick his envelope.

Agreed. It’s so unfair.
Especially when the vote to win has already opened.

Even in the old C4 days the money was heavily cut down , I personally love it when that happens. Makes the game far more interesting, especially when they fail tasks and get punished by losing a chunk of the prize money. And it shows who's really hungry for it , people show their true colours.

If anything BB went alot easier on housemates this series, only 10k got removed. And Segun won it fair and square. If I'd just won 90k...I would never resent a housemate taking 10k off it , 90k is alot of money like wtf .

Anthony almost burst out of his vest in a fit of upset &jealousy ,in BB6 when Eugene took 50k off the prize fund. At the end of the day BB can do what they want, non of them are entitled to the full 100k. It's a game where anything can happen, and they all know this when signing up for it .

Would you? Honestly.

He didn’t exactly steal it. Anybody could have picked that envelope. If Ali had picked it we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Although I hated The Vault. Thought it was some desperate plan to inject some kind of suspense but it wasn't well thought out by ITV and backfired.

I hate prize fund twists

It is a cruel twist .. in Ali’s case they basically took the money from Ali’s sister who she said would get most of the money ..

If the producers want you to give someone a random bonus they should provide the money

I dislike prize fund 'twists', always have. They are told they are playing for 100k, that's what it should be

Vicky. 16-11-2024 10:00 AM

It's slightly better to give it to another housemate than it just going down to nowhere tho, but I still don't like it

True. If Segun had guessed incorrectly and lost it all it would have just gone back into ITV's pockets.

millyrose 16-11-2024 11:45 AM

No he shouldn't give it back why should he. Be honest all though's saying he should give it back would you.

bots 16-11-2024 11:49 AM

i'm not a fan of prize money twists. However, i think in future seasons they should start subtracting from the prize fund for every rule break. That would sort the problem out very quickly

I don’t claim to be a Christian

Adamw92 16-11-2024 03:18 PM

I don’t think he should give it back, he did win it but it never should have been an option to get in the first place.

Not sure why there's such an issue with the prize fund being touched.

In previous years, especially the classic BB it was always altered or there was soe twist of done kind .... It's only 10k ! .

In the past alot more has been given away or deducted. Was there as much upset over Eugene getting 50k in BB6 ? .

smudgie 16-11-2024 05:46 PM

All the rules and regs are in their contract.
Changes in the prize fund will be covered.
