meeting involving the sexual abuse of a
young man by a Bishop,

Exasperating, isn't it. What decent person would drag their feet in a case of child abuse? Stupidity I could just about accept, but people who knowingly fail these children to give themselves some kind of advantage are, like you say, disgusting.
