…similarities, anyway….

Zizu 22-11-2024 09:29 AM

Easy

A family of squirrels in our flamin’ attic / loft !!

Scared the life out of me - there are so many stories of squirrels biting through the electricity wires and nibbling through any bags searching for bedding material

That’s what you get for opening your wallet after all these years

Meowzie likes to bring us presents that are still alive and then leave them at our feet

The worst one probably being a bird that flew around the kitchen in horror and then her trying to do insane gymnastics to try and re catch it while my sister and I are just screaming and not knowing what to do

A mouse isn't too bad. They're more scared than you are :joker:

Vanessa 22-11-2024 01:13 PM

For me it was a massive moth :bawling:

One of my cats once brought a live crow home and just let it go

Crimson Dynamo 22-11-2024 02:09 PM

when i was a kid it was a moth the size of a dinner plate

Livia 22-11-2024 04:47 PM

I've has all sorts... Birds, mice and voles, pigeons, bats, hedgehogs, an owl that flew in through my back doors. He was easy, he turned round and flew straight out again. My cat also likes bringing in stuff alive and watching me catch them. A mouse he'd brought in ran up my fireplace and as I reached out to get him, he ran up the sleeve of my dressing gown. Luckily I'm not scared of mice, if it had been my mother she'd have fainted. When I first lived here I had two cats who worked as a team to bring a hen pleasant through the cat flap.

Supposedly every house has mice/rats in the foundations/ basement

It’s just a matter of if they decide to enter the house ( for food) ..if ya leave food or crumbs or whatever on the kitchen floor or in the kitchen bin ( often in a cupboard) they will be present unless you can seal off all the tiny holes
