The Royal Variety Performance is back again for another year. The 2024 event features the likes of Sir Elton John, Stephen Mulhern and 2024 Britain's Got Talent winner Sydnie Christmas. The Royal Variety Performance is the world's longest running entertainment show and this year was attended by King Charles III.

…Alan Carr and Amanda Holden are joint hosting, I think…they have a very good rapport so I think they’ll do a great job…also Sophie Ellis-Bexter …(…who I adore …:lovedup:…)…is apparently performing Murder on the Dance-floor as well as a newer song…Marisha Wallace/CBB last year is also performing and she’s so sensational live….

Oh sounds really good. I loved Alan and Amanda’s DIY show on the BBC so will have faith in them to kill it tonight

I rarely watch this live,I always forget when it's on aswell. I may watch it on catch-up ...if I have time :shrug:.

There was a poor quality trapeze artist on a swing flanked by two dancers dressed as either ballerinas or fairies . One woman and one huge guy who was either a drag queen or trans … not my cup of tea at all

There was a couple high spots - Sophie Ellis Baxter plus excerpts from Oliver ! the musical .. sadly followed by a weird looking/sounding non-binary guy


Then Elton John .. Devil Wears Prada with two singers .. a female and a big guy definitely wasn’t masculine …-
