Any Christmas fall outs…

….my husband disappeared into the living room and fell asleep after dinner for 2 hours…

So cooked all day…then cleared it all up :fist:

Zizu 26-12-2024 01:25 PM

Ahhh
The wife did all the cooking but I did all the clearing up and dish washing

We did have a little tiff in Tesco the day before though

Crimson Dynamo 26-12-2024 01:35 PM

Nope

The girls did a fake xmas card for their Mum today (left it at the front door) and 2 hours have passed and she is still pacing about saying "Darling I just cant think who Pam and Jim are, I am mystified"🤣

He was in a food coma from your delicious food

I cooked yesterday and normally Mr C would do the wash up but he is not feeling the best so I let him off, the boys pitched in but to be honest I prefer to do it myself as their standards are a bit low  Mr C has learned over the years and is now a very high standard washer upper, dish washer filler, floor cleaner.

Today the boys have gone to the Norwich game ..2 nil up against Millwall  Mr C and I took Tilly for a walk on the Marshes, its very misty and foggy here was a lovely walk, home now and just a piece of Christmas cake and a cup of tea

left overs for dinner later

Same. We just just did a nice coastal walk for a few hours now home eating leftovers and watching a movie.

I just had bacon and mushrooms for an earlyish tea, didn't want a lot as we went to McDonalds this morning, it was 11am before we got there so we ate from the lunch menu. Delicious. No washing up till now so.no Fallout. Won't take but a few minutes...

Happy Christmas to those who celebrate it and thoughts with those who don't or it's very different this year.

No big arguments although my sister did say she was going to stab me. Long story, but she was trying to manipulate and tell us all that we can't go see certain family as she wants to go shopping instead. Lol. TBF, she does have learning disabilities so water off a duck's back really.

Boxing Day is great…the pressure is off and it’s time to unwind and nibble away..

AnnieK 26-12-2024 05:28 PM

No fallouts here....I don't do falling out, which is why I didn't go to my brothers with my Dad even though we were invited

I nearly fell out with myself for cooking too much food yesterday but am patting myself on the back today for quick tea today.

Yeah, I have enough of socialising now, looking forward to heading off to Kerry tomorrow for the rest of the holiday

Oliver_W 26-12-2024 07:25 PM

We're all emotional wankers, we're more likely to end up hugging andd crying, than having a blazing row :joker:

And I know that being like that means an equally passionate argument is probably a crosssed word away, but it hasn't happened yet

Mystic Mock 27-12-2024 05:28 AM

We've been peaceful so far.
