Do you have/will you have any New Year Resolutions?…

…is that something you make as goals/targets for a new year beginning or do you more just wing it as it goes along etc…?…

I haven't made any resolutions for a good few years. This year I feel more positive as 2024 was better for me.

I have some goals.

To continue my travels and friendship with Vanessa

To meet AnnieK as we've tried a couple of times but last minute commitments have come up

To pay for Karl to travel on the Caledonian sleeper train overnight for his birthday in April. It's quite expensive but it's on his bucket list. Can't afford for us both to go and also couldn't leave his mum alone for a night anyway.

To stick to my guns and not gamble apart from a flutter on the Grand National.

I'll add more if I think of any.

My resolution is to accumulate more money. Set myself some goals this year to save a load of money

Just the usual, lose a bit of weight, get back hiking more often

Not going to buy any new clothes this year ...:fc: I have a weakness for clothes probably because I never got anything I really coveted as a child, it was always practical stuff, when I really wanted those white jeans or whatever

Going to check the charity shops first, got a beautiful pair of Mint Velvet black jeans which are on their website for 90.00 for 4.00 practically unworn....

I don't really do resolutions as such , I suppose I'll just keep doing the goals I was setting in general ie staying to a exercise and health plan.

I think the problem with new years resolutions are that they're often very temporary.

Like why aren't you already doing it
......

Normally because of excuses which aren't founded

I will try and be more healthy. Eat healthier and exercise more, but I'm always trying to do that
