i've always liked the idea of the show but any time i've actually watched it, it has been absolute sheite :laugh:

Only Roger Taylor and maybe Paul Carrack hold any interest to me

Jools usually has a cracking good new year show,I always try to tune in :love: .

My friend Kev has a youtube channel and he usually does streams on NYE - so I usually have that on, with Jools in the background.

…he really does usually have some great guests…I often see artists to look out for, for the first time on his show…and less ‘mainstream’ artists…and those are always blended with iconic well known musicians…his New Year show has become such a watching tradition for me over time…

Is this a best bits/clip show type thing cause i’m sure i seen Jade on his show a couple months ago

…it’s not a live show but (I think…)…that it’s all first time performances recorded specifically for the Hootenanny show with many artists who have been guests that year and a few ‘icons’ thrown into the mix as well …Jade being one of his 2024 guests who has been invited back but with a new performance…I know that CMAT was on a few months ago as well, she was fabulous…:love:…and Ruby Turner and Jungle were guests this year as well…
