My family loved Jimmy Carter. They were all originally from Georgia. It's sad, we only hear about criticisms of former Presidents now. It's not a venerated role anymore, for sure.

He was a very kind and well meaning man. He and his administration were not prepared for the challenges that they had to face while he was in office, but he was really the only president that did serious good for the world after leaving office
