These audit people honestly need a new hobby

Crimson Dynamo 14-01-2025 05:51 PM

DJ Audits is brilliant at showing up jobsworths who want to intimidate people all over the UK

Looks like this ones new hobby is doing stuff the government wont.

Yet you are pissing on him for giving a homeless man his window cleaning round.

Glenn. 14-01-2025 06:28 PM

Whilst making sure everyone sees his “good deed” by filming it.

To inspire others to do the same, he states that at the start.

It’s all for internet clout. He doesn’t care :joker:

I might post part 2 (the first day)in a different thread.

Auditing ain't for everyone, but helping the homeless should be.

Of all the nonsense posted on Tibb, you know, I think the claim that "DJ Audits isn't annoying" might be one of the wildest claims.

Even if you like that sort of trash surely the whole point is that he's annoying. That's the whole act.

he and those like him are doing a valuable job

and the views certainly confirm this

I've not watched any on this thread but I've seen him before. Not on YouTube obviously; I'm not 60, I've seen clips on the China app. He's an annoying dick but it's compelling in that "cringe" way, like The Office etc.

The one that goes about on his bike filming people committing minor traffic violations is even more of a dick.

Is that what bystanders and passers-by were saying to DJ Audits and his victims?

Dunno, dont watch him.

I'm more interested in people doing the shoddy labour governments job and helping the homeless.

The homeless man in this video was interviewed by the bbc about his homelessness for their web page. 2 days ago the bbc called his local council and told them if he dies on the streets it will be their fault...

Lo and behold, after 4 months on the streets he had a hotel room a few hours later. The things the councils can do under threat of exposure huh!!

Delightful.

Just so you know the story the threads about for next time you post on topic about it.

Glenn. 15-01-2025 01:22 PM

He literally opens the video saying he’s selfish. It’s all for clout

Did they become homeless within the last 7 months?

I agree with you on principle, at the very root of it. The government should be putting way more into things like homelessness and making sure that people have a roof over their heads. Unforunately, despite what some would have you believe, the UK public is not "left leaning" enough for the voters to tolerate that level of socialism so it's often left up to individual councils, individuals and charities.

However,

throwing in "the Labour government" is daft. True that they've not really changed anything and aren't doing enough, but most of the people who are homeless today were homeless under Rishi's Tories, and every other government before that. And we'll still have huge issues with homelessness no matter who comes next.

This is not a "party politics" issue.

Beso 15-01-2025 01:59 PM

Yes he became homeless 4 months ago.
The videos tell us all about it.

Zizu 15-01-2025 02:46 PM

Is there an update yet ?

I didn't say "he" I said "they" - the homeless - I'm asking if there were no homeless people or if there were a significantly fewer number of homeless people a year ago after nearly 15 years of non-Labour government.

The first part is just me being silly - obviously I know there weren't "none". I can't claim to know if the number was significantly lower or not. So I am asking; was it? If it was much lower before last June then yes I would say we could fairly blame the current bunch.

If not then it's a systemic failing that has nowt to do with the sitting government (other than all of them failing to address it).

Again though, addressing homelessness in any meaningful way requires social spending... not austerity... and the country simply hasn't shown an appetite for that. Or maybe we did show an appetite for it and that's why Labour was voted in. Unfortunately they've turned out to be a red herring.

@Quantum Boy.

He became homeless 4 months ago, so that's one more than there was.
Perhaps you've become blind to the increasing number of homeless on our streets we see today, because of course its increasing, but that's by the by. My original comment that you've taken as me blaming labour for the the homeless being homeless, was actually a comment that said they are doing nothing, whilst ordinary members of the public are doing lots.

Your comment

I don't disagree but not one government (ever) has done much about it, so like I said by all means criticise the system, by all means point out that Labour are not better than the Blue Tories that came before them, but why dilute the issue by disingenuously trying to make out that it's a "new current government" issue. It isn't... it's been increasing steadily under every government.
